To aid efficiency, we have compartmentalised learning to many subjects, domains and areas. We have created systems where we assess a student’s knowledge in specific areas and declare results.
But are they really fragmented this way?
Aren’t the learning domains dependent on each other? Science is not far from the humanities and languages that help to make sense of it, nor from the commerce, which helps us identify a value to it.
Aren’t our students missing out on the BIG PICTURE?
